Bienvenue en Ardèche
Au terme d'un voyage épique de plusieurs jours depuis l'Irlande en minibus et en bateau, dont une traversée du plateau ardéchois au cœur d'une tempête cévenole, une équipe de personnels du centre de formation outdoor de Gartan est bien arrivée en Ardèche. Après une première nuitée reposante à l'Espace Découvertes Ardèche de Salavas, nos amis irlandais ont retrouver l'équipe des formateurs et des moniteurs stagiaires de la formation APT du CREPS pour un premier temps d'échange à propos des spécificités des métiers d'éducateurs sportifs en France. Après quoi, grâce au concours de Mathis Boudeau de Explo, moniteur spéléo et APT, l'équipe de Gartan a pu s'initier toute la journée aux activités spécifiques de progression sur corde, d'abord en via Corda puis en spéléologie

Welcome to Ardèche
AFollowing an epic journey of several days from Ireland by minibus and boat, including a crossing of the Ardèche plateau in the middle of a Cevennes storm, a team of staff from the Gartan outdoor training centre arrived safely in the Ardèche. After a restful first night at the Espace Découvertes Ardèche in Salavas, our Irish friends met up with the team of trainers and trainee instructors from the CREPS APT course for an initial discussion on the specificities of the sports teaching profession in France. Then, with the help of Mathis Boudeau (from the Explo company), a caving and APT instructor, the Gartan team spent the day learning about specific rope access activities, first in via Corda and then in caving.
